The parking lot canopy with a photovoltaic system is a structure covered by solar panels that, in addition to providing shade for vehicles, also allows for the production of electricity from the sun. These systems, associated with self-consumption of electricity, reduce energy bills, have a return on investment of about 5 years, and offer durability of over 25 years.
Following the rehabilitation and sustainability project planned for Alameda Praia Marina in Vilamoura, Rolear collaborated in the supply and commissioning of the solution - Self-Consumption Production Unit (UPAC) in the parking lot.
Due to the ease of assembly, high durability, and resistance to weather conditions, Sunfer was the ideal partner for the metal structures for mounting the panels.
The project included the installation of Sunfer type 09V structures, associated with anodized aluminum support bases, to support the 358 Sharp photovoltaic panels. Four SMA inverters were also installed.
These parking canopies covered with photovoltaic panels are a modern, sustainable, and profitable option for both businesses and residences.

Equipament used in the installation
To ensure maximum efficiency and durability of the installation, equipment from reputable brands was selected, namely Sunfer structures, type 09V, in anodized aluminum, Sharp photovoltaic modules (model 570WP bifacial, reference NB-JD570), and SMA inverters (STP 50-40/41).
